Three Tiny Thoughts Before Bed
¤ One week of class down, and already WAY behind. Sigh. {Some things never change ...}
¤ 60 Amish have moved from Wisconsin and New York to southern Indiana. The name of their new Crawford County hometown? English. {And I thought they moved to get away from the English ...}
¤ After tomorrow I'll have a real shot of me looking like this, after my first-ever fencing tournament in Cincinnati. {Granted, I have yet to purchase real gear of my own, so I won't look fully official, but still ...}
Yay for sharp stabby pointy things!!!

Cool, you fence? I've always wanted to learn, but couldn't. (They thought I'd hurt my hands playing the violin. Funny, that was their excuse for why I shouldn't compose: because it took too much time away from the violin. And people wonder why I don't miss playing that instrument...)
I fenced in college and LOVED it. It's a real workout, so be sure to bring a change of clothes with you, 'cause you'll be probably be dripping with sweat by the time it's over.
And the 'English' anecdote made me laugh. :-)
